I see a tree as a symbol of life. Just like us humans, trees continue to grow, age, some give flowers (and some give children), and some loose leaves just to grow them back again. When I think about it, a tree goes through rough experiences caused by nature, and sometimes even caused by humans. Almost like a human being. We are all the flowers of the universe...

The first thought that came to mind was a Joshua Tree. Even if its not one, the loneliness of it. I thought of the tree as you, ready to take on the world, proud of your accomplishments, flourishing... standing straight up all by yourself, with your chin up, self sufficient, strong and somewhat arrogant but with a broken branch. We all have something broken or damaged that is part of who we are.
My two cents :)
Great start for your website! Much success.
