I do agree, although I'm not sure how I feel about agreeing with Hugh Hefner and what that might say.

This is what Hugh Hefner said about the whole situation: "I think the only surprise in it, quite frankly, is that anybody would be surprised. If you're a good-looking guy and young and healthy, the notion that there would be something else going on, well, marriage is just a convenience. It's very nice for raising kids, but the notion that monogamy lasts forever is a wish!" I have a feeling, based on past blogs, that you would agree with it.

Thank you for the comment. Actually, if you read Whitlocks article he points out members of the media that have cast stones and while having similar issues or other motives in their backyard.
I also want to add that one golfer, who introduced Tiger to one of the alleged women he had an affair with, stated "I thought he was a better person". I find this statement reprehensible, and wish someone would dig up his skeletons to knock him down off of his high horse. We all have skeletons. It is my opinion pretending we don't only exacerbates the problem.

I think you're right, we should just leave the poor guy alone. It is unfair for the media to place such high standards on celebrities since after all it is the population that decides that a person is a 'role model' not the person themselves. Therefore, why should such-and-such a person live up to perfectionist moral ideals when they didn't even Choose to be a role model. Also, who are these media people that they have decided to throw the first stone-I wonder how their lives are. I bet they have certain secrets that they wish no one knew about.
